Imagine being twenty years younger than your only two step-sisters and being dyslexic. That’s how it is for Leila Abranel anyway. Sixteen-year-old soon to be seventeen, Leila has a loss in her family. Her thirty-six-year-old step-sister Rebecca, commits suicide. Leila wants to know why? Is it because of Jaine, her mother, which she lost so many months ago? Or is it a lost love?
Rebecca’s death leads Leila on an adventure of mystery, discovery, and love. While on her adventure she meets Eamon, a thirty-one-year-old television show-maker that Leila falls for--hard. He tries to help Leila find the answers that she needs to figure out this horrible event.
